Default Already have Vista SP1, still get code 8007010B and code 643

I upgraded to SP1 when windows prompted me to months ago. In august, I
started getting some prompts from Windows update to install more updates. But
almost all have failed since. Now I have 25 updates that will not install.
When i boot in safe mode with networking, windows update will not even
launch.

I am using an HP Pavillion DV 6000 model series.

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)? Were any of these applications running
in the background when you installed Vista SP1?

Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the machine?

I am having the same problem as Matt, and i tried clicking at the website you
provided but it doesn't do anything. I don't know what else to do. I'm not
sure whether i have Vista SP1, but the updates haven't been installing and I
already have about 20 of them.
